Quaker Mental Health Forum

The Mental Health Forum is an annual day conference. It is a chance for Friends to come together and to worship, to share experiences and thoughts about an aspect of mental health. It is fully funded by the Benevolent Fund which means that it is free to participants and everyone can attend.

The first Forum in 2017 explored: "Dementia: our shared journey." Out of this day a leaflet (Dementia in our Meetings) is being prepared. Watch this space. The secound Forum in 2018 explored: "Mental Health and Young People". Please click here for some of the talks that individuals gave on the day.

The next Mental Health Forum is on Saturday 19th October 2019 in The Priory Rooms Birmingham. This Forum will explore mental health in community - how community influences mental health, what a healthy community looks like and whether Quakers have a ministry to support spiritual connections in communities.
